DuMetz Scott, MD

Dr. Scott is a Board Certified Psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a local native of Columbia, SC. He attended the University of South Carolina and Meharry School of Medicine in Nashville, TN where he received his M.D. He went on to complete his psychiatric training at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.

In receiving his training from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Scott has had the pleasure of working alongside world-renowned psychiatrists at some of the top ranked hospitals in the country for psychiatric care and be a part of some of the most cutting edge treatments. Some of Dr. Scott’s specialties are Anxiety and ADHD.

Dr. Scott has deep roots in the Psychiatric Field as his father the late Dr. Randolph Scott, ll M.D also a psychiatrist, founded Carolina Behavioral Care, Inc. Dr. Scott loves spending quality time with his family and is an avid sports enthusiast sharing in his passion for his alma mater the USC Gamecocks.
